Pic, premiere !

How are you ? In your bodies in your heads? Maybe you are far away. But who isn’t today?! Are you free to go about? We wish you very much, whatever the mode. It happens in letters that the one who writes is more attentive to receiving news than to giving it. How are you ? On our side, in two words, we are concerned about pursuing our lives of inventions, and that transports us. Building the impalpable, masons without cement. But if all this is not addressed at a given moment, the sand slips between the fingers, the importance of the gesture crumbles. Will you be there ? There or as soon as possible? We are currently under our marquee, in Boulazac, in the Dordogne. Three dense weeks to finish making our show with the Inextremist and others, then play the first ones here. Will you be there ? We are aware of how lucky we are. A dry cold surrounds us under an often blue sky, the frozen ground cracks our soles. A winter, finally. A team of extraordinary people accompanies us, with nimble fingers. Caravanserai. Will you be there, in this wanted multiple marquee, drop-in daycare, full of sensational games and canvas house? We will make it live with you for the years to come, to sharpen your-our curiosity very strongly, to rub our noses. Will you be there? To rub their noses…

This show is hosted in residence and co-produced by: CIRCa Pôle National Cirque, Auch Gers Occitanie; L’Azimut – Firmin Gémier Theater – La Piscine, circus center in Ile-de-France (and the Smallest Circus in the World – center for circus arts and emerging cultures); the 2-pole Circus Platform in Normandy, La Brèche – National Center for Circus Arts in Normandy and the Cirque-théâtre of Elbeuf; the Fratellini Academy (Saint-Denis) as part of a residence of the Departmental Council of Seine-Saint-Denis; The Jean Moulin-Les Guilands departmental park (Bagnolet-Montreuil); The Agora – PNC of Boulazac Aquitaine. Its creation is also co-produced by the Théâtre de Cornouaille – national scene of Quimper, center of musical creation; The 2 stages – SN of Besançon; the MSM-Normandy urban community; The Parvis – SN of Tarbes Pyrenees; La Coursive – SN of La Rochelle; The 2Rue2Cirque cooperative; Cirque Jules Verne – National Circus and Street Arts Center – Amiens; Inextremist. It receives National Circus Aid from the DGCA and aid for creation from the CNM, the Ile-de-France Region and the Spedidam. Collectif Surnatural is supported by the DGCA/DRAC Ile-de-France ( collective agreement and 2021 recovery fund), the Ile de France Region (PAC – investment aid), the Conseil Départemental 93 (departmental company – investment aid), the CNM (investment aid), the SACEM (aid for large ensembles) and punctually by Spedidam.

La Toile – les 10, 12 et 13 novembre sous chapiteau à Bagnolet

Under this name La Toile, initially, a way of meeting between the orchestra, its vast repertoire, its availability of inventions, and circus people in their diversity. The meeting takes place during a short residency, on the achievements of the protagonists, a pooling of desires, the sharing of combinatorial possibilities of track numbers/orchestral energy… to lead to a form of show mixing the universes to the point of to melt. The result is a show that is a priori unique, performed on an ad hoc basis, combining between 20 and 25 people on stage, with the beautiful fragility inherent in the proposal…

Very diverse Webs have taken place since 2009 in various forms with members of the companies Les Colporteurs, Cirque Inextremiste, Basinga (Tatiana-Mosio Bongonga), L’Immédiat, Bikes & Rabbits, Cheptel Aleikoum, Toi Dabord…

A first “Toile” meeting with the Compagnie Inextremiste finally, a few years ago, gave rise to several evolving forms, all very diverse, preambles to the creation of an original circus show : Esquif. Here we put the cover back together… Eel under rock?!

Tall man was here

Reportée depuis le printemps, la sortie de notre disque Tall man was here devait se tenir le 26 novembre,
sous les lampions étoilés de firmaments électriques…
Qu’à cela ne tienne, il sortira quand même.
Sans fête en chair, mais restent les os, qu’on peut cogner l’un contre l’autre et, si l’on y fait des trous, faire tinter comme des flûtes.
Attachons-nous ensemble au plus difficile : garder/transmettre l’envie, l’énergie, la gaité des possibles, aérer les cerveaux, qu’ils ne se ratatinent tout ce temps comme de vieilles pommes au fond des paniers, dire aux enfants que nos bouches restent là pour être vues à sourire et grogner, que l’Humanité vit dans l’échange et le brassage depuis toujours, que c’est grâce à ça qu’on en est. Qu’on peut réfléchir et penser par soi-même, partager et s’aider des autres, même quand les temps sont durs et contraints.
Alors oui, même en carton, ce sera la fête de le sortir ce disque…
