Invited to curate an evening at CiNey (Paris, 18th arrondissement), Surnatural Orchestra – a playful 16-piece orchestra – has concocted a whimsical medley of diverse forms currently simmering in the collective’s kitchen…
Tiny morsels to savour on your own, alongside medium and large-scale orchestral pieces, will interplay throughout this extended evening…
On the menu: a sweet and peppery taster of S for Entropy featuring the full orchestra – a vast, ongoing project that weaves a collective improvisation score into an orchestral composition, drawn from the live interpretation of homemade maps, musical lyrics and songs…
Then an assortment of shorter pieces, to be savoured with a drink in hand. Those with names: Journal de bord d’un émotif, B(P)erceuses, and also plenty of surprises – fleeting micro-concerts in every corner of the venue – which will also be the highlight of the evening.
